There's always something fun to do in the Amana Colonies. You can visit our museums, shops, antique stores, and great restaurants anytime. This page includes the special events that are scheduled throughout the season. From live music to food and wine pairing to themed weekends and festivals to live theatre and outdoor events, there is something for everyone. Every Friday - Happy Hour at Ackerman Winery (2:00-4:00) and Fireside in the Village (3:00-5:00) - half off beer, wine, and cocktails.
Every Friday night there is live music at the Millstream Brau Haus, 6:00-9:00 pm
Every Saturday night there is live music and food trucks at the Millstream Brewing Company, 6:00-9:00 pm
Every Sunday afternoon there is live music at Fireside Winery out in the country toward Marengo 1:00-4:00

November Events
November 16 - Makers Space at the Amana Arts Guild - 9:00am-12:00. Join us every 3rd Sat. for a chance to socialize and create with fellow artists and crafters. Makers of all levels are welcome to bring their projects and join for some creative fun. Free
November 16 - Vintner's Dinner - wine pairing with appetizers and dinner at White Cross Cellars and the Ox Yoke Inn. Reservations required.
November 16 - Polka at Price Creek - Barefoot Becky; noon - 4:00 pm. $12.50

November 29-Dec. 1 - Tannenbaum Forest opens at the Festhalle Barn - a forest full of beautifully decorated trees for you to enjoy

December 1 - Happy Snowman Glass Painting at Ackerman Winery - 2:00-4:00 pm. $20
December 1 - A Swinging Christmas: Rod Pierson Big Band at the Amana Performing Arts Center - one show only at 2:00 pm. $25
December 6-8 - Theme: Amana Traditions Weekend - or what we usually refer to as "Prelude to Christmas"
-includes Tannenbaum Forest, Amana Church bazaar and Cookie Walk, beautiful decorations, a show, music, and holiday food.
December 6-8 - A Murder for Christmas by Karen Schaeffer and Alex Schaeffer - show at the APAC - Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday matinee at 3:00 pm. $25
December 13-15 - Theme: Children's Weekend - Santa will be at the Tannenbaum Forest every weekend, but a reindeer will also appear this weekend. Other events for kids too.
