We have had this Level 2 Electric Vehicle charging station since 2019, the first one in the Amana Colonies!

It is a service for our guests and we see more and more guests using it. We are listed on the Plug Share website that lists charging stations for EVs.

We bought our own little EV last fall. We love our Nissan Leaf. We go months without filling our other car with gas. The EV serves all our local needs. When we return home from Iowa City or Kalona, we just plug it in, like you see Marc doing in the video. It's so convenient. We hope more people choose electric!

We're here to serve you with a free overnight charge.  When you plan your trips, know that we can be one of your stops along the way, or your final destination.

From a Tesla owner just last weekend: "Of course I came here, because I saw that you were the only ones that had a charging station. I brought my adapter along and it worked great. We attended the Renassaince Festival and stayed overnight at Die Heimat to get a good charge. 🙂"
