I am so pleased to announce that my cookbook is here and ready for purchase! During the lock down period for Covid  19 and now during a slower season than usual, I have had time to work on some other projects. I was able to create a cookbook and have it published and now it is here and in our gift shop. The title is "Breakfast is Served...at Die Heimat Country Inn" by June Hershberger. I have included some information about Die Heimat Country Inn and a few pages about the Amana Colonies. I have sections on fruit dishes, baked goods, savory breakfasts and sweet breakfasts as well as a few pages in the miscellaneous section.

Over the years many of you have encouraged me to create a cookbook. I thank you for that encouragement; without it, I doubt that I would have had the courage to put this together. I do feel a sense of satisfaction in having it ready for you. Many of you have asked for recipes over the years, and I have freely and gladly shared them with you. Now you can have all of them in one place.

We have the book in our gift shop on site if you are coming to visit us. We also have it in our online gift shop for your convenience.
